The Cooper Union requires the ACT or SAT I test scores (writing sections are optional) for all undergraduate applicants. Transfer students, applicants who have attended college previously or completed a degree in a different field, and non-traditional applicants may apply for a waiver based on successful completion of college-level math and English courses. Applicants must have received a grade of a B or better in their courses to be considered. Please note, ESL courses do not qualify.
You will be asked to upload your college transcripts on the final page of this form. An unofficial transcript can be submitted for waiver review; however, an official transcript is required to complete your application for admission and to verify completion of courses referenced.
The Cooper Union Office of Admissions will notify you via email of the decision.
