Join us for a rare insider's look into the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture on Sunday, October 30th. Tour the school facilities and meet newly-appointed Dean Nader Tehrani as well as distinguished faculty, staff and current students. Light refreshments provided.
The event will begin promptly at 1:30 PM in the Frederick P. Rose Auditorium at 41 Cooper Square. Check-in will take place in the lobby of 41 Cooper Square beginning at 12:45 pm.
*You are welcome to bring samples of current work to share with faculty if you wish. Portfolios are not required for this event, nor are they required as part of the first-year application.*
**While this is an undergraduate focused event, we encourage students interested in the Master of Architecture II to attend for an opportunity to speak to faculty, a current student and tour the facilities.**
Cooper Union is offering small, student-led tours of the School of Art to prospective students. Visitors will view classroom and studio spaces, as well as the facilities. Your guide will speak about his or her experience as a Cooper Union student and will talk briefly about the Admissions requirements.
The School of Art holds a series of Art Portfolio Review Days in the fall, at which prospective students bring portfolios for review and have the opportunity to learn more about the school from faculty and alumni. The Art Portfolio Review Day consists of an orientation, a guided tour of the facilities and an individual portfolio review by faculty or alumni of the School of Art.
PLEASE NOTE: The Friday reviews occur at a different time than the Saturday/Sunday reviews! Friday reviews begin at 4 pm; Saturday and Sunday reviews begin at noon.
Upon arriving at The Cooper Union, please report to The Great Hall in The Foundation Building located at 7 East 7th Street. At check in, each student will receive a number indicating the order in which portfolios will be reviewed. Reviews are handled on a first come, first served basis depending upon the number you receive during check in.
Please bring review materials in their original format, not a digital copy. (If the original format is digital, then that is fine). Please download anything online beforehand as Wi-Fi service can be spotty. You are not limited in number or size regarding materials you may bring in for review.
Tour the School of Engineering at 41 Cooper Square with a current engineering student. An admissions representative will speak to you briefly beforehand about admissions requirements.

The Albert Nerken School of Engineering Preview Day will be held Thursday, November 10th. Event registration will take place in the Great Hall of the Foundation Building located at 7 East 7th Street beginning at 3:30pm.
This event is for prospective engineering students and their families. Major-specific lab tours and demonstrations will be offered, as well as an opportunity to meet faculty, staff, current students, and fellow future engineers.</p> <p>Optional tours of the New Academic Building and the Residence Hall will also be available between 2pm and 3:45pm, prior to the beginning of the event.<br /><br />The event will officially begin at 4:30pm and conclude by 8:30pm.
